Press Start to pause the game, and hold L + R and press 
Down, Left, Up, Right to activate cheat mode and access to all costumes. 
Now you can enter any of the following cheat codes:

Unlimited Energy:
Pause the game, then hold L + R triggers and press 
Down, Down, Right, Right, Up, Up, Left, Left.

Maximum abilities:
Pause the game, then hold L + R triggers and press

Get 35 random boosts:
Pause the game, then hold L + R triggers and press

Gives 20 shields:
