Unlockable bonus stages:

Spear Pillar stage:
Unlocked by completing Event Match #25.

Port Town stage:
Unlocked by playing as Captain Falcon 10 times in VS. mode.

Pokemon Stadium stage:
Unlocked by fighting in the Pokemon Stadium 2 10 times in VS. mode.

Mushroomy Kingdom stage:
Unlocked by completing Event Match #19.

Luigi's Mansion stage:

Unlock All-Star mode:
To access to All-Star mode, you have to unlock all bonus characters.

Unlock Boss Battle mode:
To access Battle mode, finish the Subspace Emissary in adventure mode.


Unlock Sheik as a playable character:
You can unlock Sheik several ways depending on which controller do
you have. Go to the character selection screen, then select the
Zelda/Sheik area. Hover the pointer over your section, then press
the following button on your controller to switch between Sheik and
Zelda:

If you have a Wii-mote and Nunchuk, press A button.
If you have a Wii-mote, press 2 button.
If you have a GameCube controller, press A button.
If you have a Classic controller, press A button.

Unlock Zero Suit Samus as a playable character:
You can unlock Zero Suit Samus several ways depending on which
controller do you have. Go to the character selection screen, then
choose Samus, then hold the following buttons on your controller -
at the "Ready to Fight!" message, when you usually press Plus to
start the match.

If you have a Wii-mote and Nunchuk, hold Nunchuk Z and press Plus.
If you have a Wii-mote, hold Minus and press Plus.
If you have a GameCube controller, hold R and press Start.
If you have a Classic controller, hold R and press Plus.

Alternate ways to unlock Zero Suit Samus:
Perform an Up Taunt, then quickly perform a Down Taunt and then
execute another Up Taunt while playing as Samus during a match.


Unlockable Bonus characters:
Play the indicated number of VS mode matches to unlock the indicated
bonus character.

How to unlock Toon Link:
Finish Cassic mode with Link to unlock Toon Link.

How to unlock Sonic:
Finish the Subspace Emissary in adventure mode to unlock Sonic.

How to unlock Snake:
Play 15 matches on Shadow Moses Island to unlock Snake.

How to unlock R.O.B. the robot:
Acquire 250 different trophies, have R.O.B. join your party in the Subspace
Emissary in adventure mode.

How to unlock Ness:
Beat Ness in the Subspace Emissary in adventure mode or reflect 10
projectiles to unlock Ness.

Finish Classic mode with all characters to unlock Mr. Game & Watch.

How to unlock Marth:
Play 10 Brawls or beat Marth in the Subspace Emissary in adventure mode.
You can unlock Marth, by finishing Classic mode, too.

Beat Luigi in the Subspace Emissary in adventure mode or finish Classic

How to unlock Lucario:
Finish all Target Tests with either 1 or 2 players or beat Lucario with

1. Enter VS. mode, and select Special Match mode.
2. Set it to Stamina and Flower modes.
3. Go to the character selection screen
4. Give the CPU 1 health and your character anything over 1 health.
- Note: make sure that it is on 1 Life Stock mode.
5. Set the map to Shadow Moses Island until Snake appears
6. Then defeat Snake
7. Keep playing this way about 2 hours
8. You will have around 500 VS. mode games played.
9. Then, you should have unlocked all characters.
Note: Recommendend character is Ike, who can hits very hard.
