Move the pointer over the the magic book at the caravan screen. Then,
hold Select and push Left, Up, Right, Down, L1, R1.

All unit types on the troop roster:
Move the pointer over the spare book under the pile on the left at the
caravan screen. Then, hold Select and push R1, L1, L2, R2 buttons.

Troops fight without cost:
Move the pointer over the troop roster at the caravan screen. Then,
hold Select and push Circle, Triangle, X, Square, Left, Right.
