During the game play, hold R1 + R2 and push X, Square, Circle,
Square, X, Triangle buttons in order on your controller.
After that release R1 + R2, and hit Select.

Unlock Bonus characters and Canyon court in Smash Tennis mode:
Press Up, Down, Left, Right, Start at the Smart Dog logo screen.
Voice will confirm the correct code entry.
