Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace cheats and cheat codes for Playstation

Debug mode
Highlight "Options" at the main menu, but do not select it. 
Press Triangle, Circle, Left, L1, R2, Square, Circle, Left on 
your controller. A sound of beep will confirm the correct code 
entry. Then, hold L1 + Select + Triangle buttons to access to 
the debug menu. This menu contain the following options:
Level select, FMV sequence, sound test, and invincibilitys. 

To play on the selected level, quit from the cheat menu and begin 
a new game. 

To hear the game sounds or watch the movies, highlight the 
desired clip and press X. 

Hold L1 + Select + Triangle to return to the menu at any time.


Cheat mode (Japanese version)
Hold L1 + Select and press Triangle at the title screen to bring up 
the cheat menu. The cheat menu contain the following options: 
Invinciblity, level select and FMV sequence.
After using the level select option to select a level, press 
Triangle to quit from the cheat menu. Then, begin a new game to 
play on the selected level.


Underwater lightsaber
Press Start, highlight "Weapons" and select the lightsaber to take 
out your lightsaber while you are under the water
