MLB 2001 cheats and cheat codes for Playstation

Unlock Spring training stadiums
Select exhibition mode, then at the stadium selection screen, 
move to the right or left until the training stadiums appear.

Automatic strike
Throw a pitch that will be a strike. When the ball just reaches 
the batter, immediatelly pause the game play, then resume the game. 
If done correctly, the batter will not swing at the ball.

Super player
Go to the player creation screen and enter any names from the 
programmer team as a player name (example: "Scott Murray").
You will find those names in the back of the instruction manual.

Non tested:

Hit a homerun
While in the batter's box and using the power swing, push the following 
buttons when the ball is thrown: Up/Left + L2 + R1 + X
If the batter connects, he wil hit a homerun. 

Single or double hits
While in the batter's box and using the power swing, push Down to
hit a single or double about 90% of the time.
