Asteroids cheats and cheat codes for Playstation

Activate cheat mode
Hold Select and press Square, Triangle, O, Triangle, Triangle,
Square, O when "Press Start" message appears at the title
screen. A sound of an explosion will confirm the correct code entry.
During the game play, press Start + Select to bring up the cheat
menu. Select a new level, zone or set the collision detection by
using the D-pad. Pusht the L1 button to continue the game.

Excalibur ship
Hold Select and press Triangle, O, O, Triangle, Square, O, Square
when the "Press Start" message appears at the title screen.
A sound of an explosion will confirm the correct code entry.

Original Asteroids mini-game
when "Press Start" appears at the title screen,
Hold Select and press O, O, O, Triangle, Square, Square, O - when
"Press Start" message appears at the title screen. A sound of an
explosion will confirm the correct code entry.
Then, push Start and select the "Classic Asteroids" option on the main
menu.

Alternate way to unlock Original Asteroids mini-game:
Reach Zone 1, Level 15, then locate and shoot the green vector
graphics asteroid that appears. If you successed, big words in
green will appear on the screen. Finish the level and save your
game to keep the Original Asteroids mini-game unlocked.


Original Asteroids mini-game cheats:

Invincibile mode
Press Down, Down, Up, Up, O, Square, Triangle, Triangle
while the game is paused.

Get 99 lives
Press Up, X, Down, Triangle, Left, Square, Right, O
while the game is paused.

Additional life
Press Up, Down, Left, Right, O, Square, X, Triangle
while the game is paused.
