Ys: The Oath In Felghana cheats and cheat codes for PC

Unlock new costumes:
Finish the game once to unlock a new outfit for Elena.
A different costume will be unlocked, depending on the difficulty level. 
To wear the new costumes, go to the configuration screen, then right 
click Elena.

Unlock Time attack mode:
Finish the game once to play in time attack mode.

Unlock Hard mode:
Finish the game once on the normal difficulty level to access hard mode.

Unlock Nightmare mode:
Finish the game once on the hard difficulty level to access Nightmare mode.

Unlock Inferno mode:
Finish the game once on the nightmare difficulty level to access Inferno mode. 
Note: TO unlock Inferno mode, you need the patched version of the game.


Unlock cheat mode:
Beat Galbaran in Nightmare mode, then beat Berhard to unlock cheat mode.


Activate Cheat mode:
Note: Always make a backup copy, before edit a game file.
Locate the "ysf_win.ini" file in the 
"/documents and settings//application data/falcom/ysf_win/" folder.
Open it with a text editor, then find the "[game]" string.
Bellow the [game] headings, modify the following lines to: 

GameClearFlag=3
GameClearFlag=1 

Save the modified ini file, then start a new game (or load one of your saved game)
to access Time attack mode. 

Hit any of the following keys to enable the indicated cheat effect.

Effect - Key 
Get 1,000 gold - Press F3 
Get 1,000 Ravaal steel - Press F4
Maximum HP - Press F5 
Gain one level - Press F2
