Tyrian 2000 cheats and cheat codes for PC

Wild detail mode
Run the Tyrian 2000 setup program. Then, highlight the "Game Detail"
option and hit W.

Impossible difficulty level:
Press [Shift] + G at the difficulty selection screen.

Suicide difficulty level:
Activate the "Impossible difficulty level" code, then
press [Shift] + ] at the difficulty selection screen.


Enable debug mode
During the game play, push [Backspace] + [F10].
"Cheaters always prosper" message will confirm the correct cheat code entry.

Enable invincibile mode
During the game play, push [F2] + [F3] + [F6].
"Cheaters always prosper" message will confirm the correct cheat code entry.

Full pause screen
During the game play, push [Backspace] + [Number Lock].
"Cheaters always prosper" message will confirm the correct cheat code entry.

Change background music randomly
During the game play, push [Backspace] + [Scroll Lock].
"Cheaters always prosper" message will confirm the correct cheat code entry.

Change colors randomly
During the game play, push [Backspace] + [Minus].
"Cheaters always prosper" message will confirm the correct cheat code entry.

Final level
During the game play, push [F2] + [F6] + [F7].
"Cheaters always prosper" message will confirm the correct cheat code entry.
This does not effect Super Arcade ships or a game in Super Tyrian mode.

Go to the main menu, then type any of the following cheat codes:

Unlock TX Silvercloud ship - Enter "unknown" as a code
Unlock Stormwind - The Elemental ship - Enter "stormwind" as a code
Unlock Pretzel Pete Truck ship - Enter "pretzel" as a code
Unlock Nort-Ship Z - Enter "nortshipz" as a code
Unlock Ninja Star ship - Enter "stealth" as a code
Unlock Foodship Nine ship - Enter "weird" as a code
Unlock Experimental PQZ ship - Enter "techno" as a code
Unlock Dragon ship - Enter "lizard" as a code
Unlock Destruct mini-game* - Enter "destruct" as a code
Unlock Captured U-fighter - Enter "enemy" as a code
Super Tyrian mode on Lord of the Game mode - Enter "engage" as a code
Super Tyrian mode on Suicide mode - Hold [Scroll Lock] and type "engage"

* Hit the [F1] key while playing the mini-game for the controls.

Christmas items, weapons, ships, and sounds:
Go to the installed Tyrian 2000 game directory in MS-DOS window.
Run the "file0001 yesxmas" command in DOS, then press Y when prompted.
Note: Christmas mode is date-sensitive and will only remain active until
December 31, 1999.
