Cheat mode:
While playing the game, press CTRL + SHIFT + C keys to bring up the console.

aging on - Enable Sims aging

floatProp tvVolume <0.0-1.0> - Modify television volume (default is 0.5)

gameVersion - After typing expand, displays the game version in
the cheat box

help (cheat command) - Show info about selected cheat
help - Display most cheat codes

intprop censorgridsize 0 - No censor (normal mode = 8)

intProp maxNumOfVisitingSims - Invite more guests with a party
(Note: use in neighborhood screen)

Kaching - Add 1,000 Simoleons

motherlode - Add 50,000 Simoleons

moveObjects on - Objects can be placed anywhere in buy and build modes
moveObjects off - Deactivate object moving

StretchSkeleton - Change Sims size (default is 1.0)

slowMotion <0-8> - Toggel slow motion mode (0 - normal, 8 - slowest)

Vsync off - Disable vsync
Vsync on - Enable vsync

deleteAllCharacters - Delete all Sims
Note: use in neighborhood view

ForceTwins, twinzr2cute or twinsr2cute - Have twins when baby is born

TerrainType desert - Desert terrain type (use in neighborhood view)
TerrainType temperate - Temperate terrain type (use in neighborhood view)



Command line cheats:

Full screen:
Run the game with the -f command line parameter. -

Chang screen resolution:
Run the game with the -rx command line parameter. -

Windowed screen:
Run the game with the -w command line parameter. -

Disable sound:
Run the game with the -nosound command line parameter.



Postprocessing cheats:
First enabling the Postprocessing cheats with the
"boolProp enablePostProcessing true" code, then use the following codes.
Note: All codes are case-sensitive. Do not enable or use these codes unless
your video card supports pixel shaders.

Centered blur effect:
Type "vignette " where centerX and centerY are screen
coordinates and x (vignette) must be between 0.0 and 1.0

Letterbox screen effect:
letterBox <0.0-0.4>

Grainy screen effect:
filmGrain <0.0-1.0>

Blur effect:
Type "bloom " where red, green, blue value must be between 0 and 255,
and x (bloom) between 0.0 and 1.0


Testing cheats mode:
While playing the game, press CTRL + SHIFT + C keys to bring up the console.
Then enter "boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true" as a code to activate testing
cheats mode. This test mode enables different things.

Testing cheat mode - New features in Create A Sim menu:
Press SHIFT + N before making a Sim to go to the debug mode. Now you can
access to the following things in Create A Sim, like:
Skin tones,
Clothing,
Viewing the skinfilenames etc.


Testing cheat mode - New features during the game play:
After activated this code, hold SHIFT and left click on a Sim. You can access
lots of new options, like:
Changing clothes,
Make your Sim thin or fat,
Modify their aspiration level
etc.

This code also can summon various items like:
Tombstone of L(ife)
Tombstone of D(eath)
family members.


Testing cheat mode - New features on mailbox:
After enabled the code, hold [Shift] and click on a mailbox. You can access
lots of new options, like:
Invite all neighbors over,
Force pregnancy relations,
Force everyone you know to be friends,
Forcing a burglar to rob,
Know all Sims in the neighborhood,
etc.
