Silent Hunter 3 cheats and cheat codes for PC

Note: Always make a backup copy, before edit a game file.
You have to be in the base after a mission for this cheat to work.
Go to the \sh3\data\cfg\careers\yourcarreer folder. Locate the .cfg file.
Select the name of the folder that is the same as the career that you are
using. Open the .cfg file with a text editor (example: wordpad or notepad).
Scroll down to your last mission details and change the amount of
DeltaRenown that you got paid.

(example: DeltaRenown=498.750000 Change to DeltaRenown=6500.750000)

Save the .cfg file modifications then run the game.
Now, you can buy anything in the game.
