Start at Solo hunt and have an easy level and then hit enter and
type "deer killer" and enter again. After this hit the letter "f"

Begin a tournament. Enter your data to play, but choose the handgun as
your weapon -- enter anything else for the other data. Start the tournament
and allow the game to load where you are actually hunting. Then, exit the
tournament and go back to the main menu. After, choose a hunting trip.
Now, you can select a gun as weapon.
This also works for the shooting range.
