BioShock cheats and cheat codes for PC

Cheat mode
Note: Not all codes work with the earlier versions of the game, 
so recomended to update your game version to v1.1. 
Always make a backup copy before edit a game file. 


First locate the "User.ini" file in the installed game directory.
You will need to allow hidden files and folders to be shown in 
order to find the User.ini file. 

You will find in the following folder on Windows XP 
C:\Documents and Settings\(your username)\Application Data\Bioshock\ 

You will find in the following folder on Windows Vista: 
C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\Bioshock\ 

Open the User.ini file with a text editor (for example Wordpad).
Set a key binding in the User.ini file to any of the following codes 
(for example: F9=god, F10=ghost etc.), then save the file and start 
the game. During the game play, press any of the bounded keys 
to activate the indicated cheat effect. 

Code - Effect
igbigbucks - Gives $500
ghost - Activate Ghost mode
fly - Activate Fly mode
walk - Deactivate fly and ghost modes
god - Activate God mode
givebioammo - Restore EVE bar
givehealth - Restore health bar
slomo (number) - Change the speed of the game (normal is "1.0")
killpawns - Kill all enemies on level, may break scripted plot sequences
SetGravity (number) - Change the gravity level in the game (default is -1400,0)
SetGravity 0.0 - No gravity
teleport - Teleport to pointer
SetJumpZ (number) - Change jump height (default is 600.0)

Note: Some codes you have to re-enter when you reach new areas or 
after watched the intermission sequences.

Start you favorite text editor then create a new text file and insert 
any of the following commands listed below:

Now you have to SAVE this text file. Name as Plasmid.txt and put it in 
the "C:\Program Files\2K Games\BioShock\Content\System" directory.

NOW open the User.ini file with a text editor and bind the following 
command to any key as previously described :

exec Plasmid.txt 

Save the User.ini file, then start the game.

During the game play use the key you have bound to the "exec Plasmid.txt" 
line, then go to a gene bank to check out any new Tonics you have spawned.



Spawn weapons, ammo, and items:
Start you favorite text editor then create a new text file and insert

After inserted the desired commands you have to SAVE this text file. 
Name as weapons.txt and put it in the 
"C:\Program Files\2K Games\BioShock\Content\System" directory.

NOW open the User.ini file with a text editor and bind the following 
command to any key as previously described :

exec weapons.txt

Save the User.ini file, then start the game.
During the game play use the key you have bound to the "exec weapons.txt".
Spawned weapons and ammo will appear directly in your inventory. 


Bad ending:
You will see the bad ending if more than one Little Sister was harvested.

Good ending:
You will see the good ending if no more than one Little Sister was harvested, 
but the rest were rescued.
