Battlefield 2 cheats and cheat codes for PC

Cheat mode:
Hit ~ (tilde) to bring up the console, then type any of the console commands 
bellow on a server to enable the indicated cheat effect:

Code - Effect
renderer.drawHud (0 or 1) - Turn off/on HUD
renderer.drawfps (0 or 1) - Turn off/on showing frame rate
renderer.drawConsole (0 or 1) - Turn off/on access to in-game console
mapList.save - Save current map list to "_mapList.con" file
mapList.remove (name) - Remove specified map from map list
mapList.mapCount - Display total number of maps in current map list
mapList.load - Reload "_mapList.con" file
mapList.list - List map ID number, name, mode, and number of players
mapList.currentMap - Display the map list ID number of current map
mapList.configFile - Set path to "_mapList.con" file
mapList.clear - Clear current map list
gameLogic.togglePause - Turn off/on pausing the game
demo.stopRecording - Stop demo recording
demo.recordDemo (filename) - Record current game as demo

admin.listPlayers - List of connected players
admin.listBannedKeys - List of banned CD keys

admin.kickPlayer (ID number) - Kick player
admin.currentLevel - Show map list ID number for current map
admin.clearBanList - Clear all ban lists.

admin.banPlayerKey (key hash) (timeout) - Ban indicated player by CD key hash;
admin.banPlayer (id number) (timeout) - Ban indicated player by ID
admin.addKeyToBanList (key hash) (timeout) - Ban CD key hash
admin.addAddressToBanList (ip address) (timeout) - Ban indicated player by IP 

Ban timeout values:
Use any of the timeout values with the banning commands. 

Value - Effect
:(whole number) - Epoch expiration date; seconds since 1/1/1970
(whole number) - Number of seconds
perm - Permanent ban
round - Until next map

Windowed game:
Run the game with the + fullscreen 0 command line parameter. 


Ranks:
Private rank:  Acquire 0 global points
Private First Class rank: Acquire 500 global points
Lance Corporal rank: Acquire 1,000 global points
Corporal rank: Acquire 10,500 global points
Sergeant rank: Acquire 25,000 global points
Staff Sergeant rank: Acquire 50,000 global points
Gunnery Sergeant rank: Acquire 75,000 global points
Master Sergeant rank: Acquire 150,000 global points
First Sergeant rank: Acquire 250,000 global points
Master Gunnery Sergeant rank: Acquire 500,000 global points
Sergeant Major rank: Acquire 1,000,000 global points
Sergeant Major of the Army rank: Acquire 2,500,000 global points 


Rename your soldier:
You cannot rename your soldier in default case.
You have to edit the file "\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001\Profile.con" and 
modify the first value, in the quotes.

Example:

LocalProfile.setName "defaultPlayer" 

change to 

LocalProfile.setName "" 


All weapons:
Note: Always make a backup copy of the game file. 
Note 2: Only works in v1.0.0 of the game.
Note 3: You may get ban, if you cheat in multi-player mode.

Locate the "unlocks.py"file in the "\ea games\battlefield 2\python\bf2\stats" 
directory. Open it with a text editor, and modify line 44 from 
"defaultUnlocks = [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]" 
to 
"defaultUnlocks = [1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1]". 


Easy scoring:
Note: Always make a backup copy of the game file. 
Locate the "scoringCommon.py" file in the 
"\ea games\battlefield 2\mods\bf2\python\game\" directory. 
Open it with a text editor. In this file you can change scores for 
different events. It also works for enemy soldiers. 

Example: 

SCORE_KILL = 50
SCORE_TEAMKILL = 40 

The same thing can be done for the "gpm_cq.py" file in 
the "ea games\battlefield 2\mods\bf2\python\game\gamemodes" directory.

Example: 

TAKEOVERTYPE_CAPTURE = 100
TAKEOVERTYPE_NEUTRALIZE = 200
