Play on Bonus maps
Complete the following objectives to unlock trial maps:

Strange Turn map: Finish Story mode on the Difficult mode.

Lonely Isle map: Finish Story mode inn the Normal or Difficult mode.

Hillside Battle map: Finish Story mode on any difficulty level.

Escape map: Connect to a GBA with Fire Emblem by using a link cable.

Trapped map: Connect to a GBA with Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
by using a link cable.

Desperation map: Connect to a GBA with Fire Emblem or Fire Emblem: The
Sacred Stones by using a link cable.

After unlocked the desired trial maps, load the "Epilogue" file to
play on it. Your characters will keep the weapons from the completed
Story mode.


Unlock Ashanard on bonus trial maps
Finish the game 15 times

Unlock Astrid
Have Ike speak with the Astrid the Bow Knight in Chapter 13.
Astrid will join your team.

Unlock Bryce on bonus trial maps
Finish the game 10 times

Unlock Calill
Read the dialogue before Chapter 20.

Unlock Ena
Don't kill the Dark Knight in Chapter 27. Ena will join your team.

Unlock Nasir
Don't kill the Dark Knight in Chapter 27. Nasir will join your team.

Unlock Geoffrey
If Geoffrey survives in Chapter 24, he will join your team.

Unlock Griel (Ike's father)
Finish the game 20 times without losing to anyone in very hard mode

Unlock Haar
Talk to Haar with Jill in Chapter 23.

Jill joins your team automatically on the way to Bengion in Chapter 12.
