Cheat code screen:
Select "Game Status" at the options screen, highlight any of the 
characters, after press L + R.  Remove all of your VMUs from the 
controllers to enable the following cheat codes:
Note: You can use these codes only once.

3 enemies attack: Enter "UNDER_FIRE"
All characters available: Enter "LLA_KCOLNU"
All levels from the original Vigilante 8: Enter "OLD_LEVELS"
Big wheels: Enter "GO_MONSTER"
Disable all codes: Enter "NO_CODE"
Disable enemies in arcade mode: Enter "HOME_ALONE"
Disable wheel attachment icons: Enter "DRIVE_ONLY"
Faster cars: Enter "MORE_SPEED"
Heavier cars: Enter "GO_RAMMING"
High suspensions: Enter "JACK_IT_UP
Invincibility: Enter "ELBICNIVNI"
